I love Rev Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping. He has the right idea and the energy to promote it! The Church of Stop Shopping has a documentary if you are interested, which will explain more about their message. The Fox reporter is quite dumb but I guess that is typical for the media in this country, which is why I try not to pay much attention to it. Keep up the great work, Rev Billy!

Rev Billy was great but the female reporter is beyond stupid. Nothing else is expected from Fox employees.

Wal Mart is the industry leader, they are number one. Where Wal Mart goes, the rest of the retailers follow. Kroger has started to adopt some of the same labor practices in order to keep up with them. Wal Mart pushed for cheap stuff made in China in sweat shops and by falsely imprisoned people in jails. Wal Mart and places like them will be a problem as long as people say 'oh, this company isn't the problem' with every business they see.

Shopping is ok if it is for stuff you need, and maybe for a few wants. But if you are trying to keep up with the Joneses, that mythical family that lives high on the hog while being constantly broke, then you'll be in serious trouble. We all need to step back and think, do I really need to own this item, or am I buying it just because a TV ad made me want it? Image is nothing and it really doesn't matter whose name is stamped on your shirt, the quality of the item and its world impact matter.

Hallelujah! Put down your credit cards and go get some cash out of the bank. Instead of donating your spare change and a dollar here and there randomly, go out and spend the extra dollar to shop with a locally owned store and put your money into supporting your local economy. That is the American dream!

I met Billy Ghent, Belgium. He's a great person and the message he's bringing is even greater. We need this voice and we all should stop and think about it longer the a second.

Walmart isn't the problem, it has never been the problem. If it wasn't Walmart, it'd be some other corporation. The independent shop owner started going out in the late fifties. It all came down to buying power. The little shop owner couldn't buy in as much quantity has the chain store, so his prices was always higher. The chain store would buy property right next door and drive him out of business. How many independent grocers are there? Their all billion dollar corporate chains.

There's nothing wrong with shopping, if you have the cash. It's the fact that people Chargelujah. Which is why they couldn't pay their mortgages. Everyone thinking they need to have the newest gadget or Iphone. It's ridiculous. All this crap ends up in a landfill soon or later. The madness needs to end.

It makes sense that Becky is sitting at a bar for this interview. Notice that the capitalist machine as clueless people fronting for it. You can follow the money of that business all the way to the White House. Fox News - the ultimate oximoron - had a hand in making that happen too. I want to thank Reverand Billy for getting on Fox Noise and getting his message out. I am surprised Fox let it happen. Billo and Hannity would have cut his mic. Bravo, Reverand! You can heal the clueless!

I don't how she thinks Capitalism equals democracy. In a capitalistic society those with the most controls the most. In a democracy those with nothing, has as much power as those with a lot. Capitalism is for building a country, democracy is for governing it.

I can feel the power of your words Reverend. Indeed we must stop our recreational shopping and mindless consumerism. None of us was born to shop. Only those who benefit from such a lie, the companies who sell you things and the networks that get money from these companies, sell you the lie that a phrase like born to shop is a good thing. Don't buy the lies, it is time to take your life back from those who have tried to usurp it. Changelujah!
