With someone other than JPJ, Led Zeppelin would have just been a really great hard rock/blues band. What he brought to the table elevated them to mega-iconic status and really set them apart musically. His influence on their sound was huge.

yes, i totally agree. i don't know why the remastered soundtrack is identical to the movie version. the cuts in the film version were so sloppy, and its just not clean. in No Quarter they cut out a big section to make it fit better, but it just ruins the music. i'm really disappointed by the remastered version.

I can't believe it's been over 30 years since this concert. Me & 3 high school buddies drove from Vancouver & caught this show at the Kingdome in Seattle. Not a very good performance, but it was Zeppelin live. Page was a bit strung out & Plant was sick. You can really hear it in his voice in other songs. Search around and find Jonesy singing on the Battle of Evermore. Bloody awful, but their still the greatest band of all time. I wonder if Page, Jones & Bonham are going to hit the road soon?

jimmy was almost always in tune...he usually caught on to stuff right away...he was elementry about production and sound...if anything the tech didn't set up the guitar properly...also, page played much louder than the bass, singer and drums and it is much more pronounced that way so it might sound out of whack...he is in tune...he was too involved for himself to play a song like greek heroes being out of tune...besides, guitar techs and sound checks don't get it right always...
