Oh my, my son is just like yours. He would write the name Walt Disney in exactly the way it is written in the video. His photographic memory is so amazing! I will teach him to spell "kindergarten: once and he can write it immediately.

Yes, giving my son a Doodle Pro or Magna doodle helped us discover his many talents and his intelligence. He may just start writing and surprise you. It is also a calming activity for these kids.

I watched your 2 videos. I cried. My son had exhibited the same exact signs but i had thought he was just a genius. I hated everybody that said he might be autistic. But then I noticed the lack of social skills and speech delay. Then we brought him to a team of specialist. They said he has high functioning autism. That was a very sad day. I wish i had seen your videos sooner so i could have understood him better and made his life a bit easier earlier on.

Well, higher-functioning Autistics are. That doesn't mean that lower-functioning Autistics can't be intelligent, as well. But then again, I'm autistic myself, what do I know? ;)

Pure love and the genius of our kids shines through here. It's the rest of the world off balance perhaps when they have a need to label brightness, kindness, innocence, sweetness and being open as "dis" ability. Autism is as diverse as any other ability. Keep growing strong Quinn, the world will be ready for you when as you keep stepping up to it.

Quinn is a smart kid indeed. Check out the internet info on "hyperlexia". I have a student who is 6 and actually calms down when he has pencil in hand!

Your son is absolutely adorable and looks very happy. You must be a wonderful parent. I'm going to be working with Autistic children for 4 weeks this Summer and am really looking forward to it. This video has made me more excited to be working with these unique little individuals.

I'm autistic, and I remember that I had to write my name on a page. I did and I wrote random words and titles in my mind. The spelling was right.

Thank you for this, my little sister is autistic and she memorizes Disney and Pixar movies and recites them. She also writes out the names of every single person in our family, in a movie, in a story, whatever. It's fascinating. And though she's still my sister and drives me crazy, she sure keeps life interesting!

Right now, I am studying to be an RN. For my intercession class we were told to pick an age group and a challenge so we could do a 20 minute presentation. I thought it would be relevant to teach my caulleges about preschoolers (age 3-6) with autism. Your video allowed my small class the opportunity to show how awesome Quin is! Thank you for the video as it made a difference...everyone said they absolutely adored Quin.
