(cont) furthermore, you have to believe that this "thing" has a consciousness, that it is extremely intelligent, and that it has the ability to MOVE IN AND OUT of time and space because most of the stories of the Abrahamic religions don't work without god assuming some material form. That statement is ridiculous in the first place because you are postulating something that is outside of time and space and has no form at all, yet you think that this thing can manipulate the universe at it sees fit based solely on its will alone. actually, the entire energy of the universe is zero. all of the kinectic, thermal, nuclear, radiant, etc. energy is cancelled out by the negative gravitational energy. energy can be converted into matter. therefore, energy and matter don't have to come from an outside source. the universe is a closed system. as i have said multiple times, science hasn't figured out everything to do with the big bang, but the bottom line is that a lack of knowledge doesn't give you the right to say "god did it"

nothing has to have "created" the universe. if time started at the big bang, then there doesn't have to have been anything before it. also, if you want to know what is responsible for all the matter and energy in our universe, you should read A Brief History of Time.
