No! The Bedside Drama is my favorite, and Hissing Fauna is a close second, with Cherry Peel right up there as well, but I really do love this album. Id Engager and Gallery Piece really made me adore it, and I'm sure seeing them live didn't hurt. :) But, of course if you don't like it, I won't argue with you about it. ok guys, i literally rofl'd when i heard 0:45. Those sound samples are (im almost positive) from Finale Notepad. this album is like mixing the second half of Hissing Fauna with the Coquelicot... album. ie it's crazy glam/funk with serious a.d.d. problems. felt the same way, but then i gave it another few goes and i came to love skeletal lamping as much as Hissing Fauna. I had the same selective hearing issue when i was first introduced to them. At first it sounds shit, then i give it another chance i'm able to fully appreciate it, but my experience with of montreal isn't the same as yours
