I dunno how far you've gotten in the series since posting this. but if you're like me when you get to song of susanah, you basically be chanting to yourself "i must get to the tower" btw, many of his works revolve around the tower. the Stand's antogonist Randel Flagg is an alias of the Man in black for example. All things serve the tower in Stephen King's books

the originality of the gunslinger is so strange. i was angry at first with king, and i was almost not sure it was the same stephen king, but the book had a weird kind of... "anti-flow" to it. the dark tower series in general kind of reminded me of a train wreck: try not to stare, but you can't look away. beautiful and terrible all at once. i own every book in the series now. and revisit them often, i hope you've read your way through them all... and really, it ends the only way it could.

I personally thought that the explanation from the man in black was very drawn out, jusat repeating everything he said the other page over and over again, just with ´different ways of putting it. No offense, but I seem to be the exception to the rule. I am an avid consumer of tacos, and I drink 8-9 cups of milk per day. Whole milk at that. I never get sick, I fell 26 feet onto tree roots and did not break or fracture anything. I am virtually impervious to cold (I have gone sledding in shorts), and I have not been diagnosed with any form of cancer or long-term disease. Maybe it is genetic, but I really don't see any reason to switch over.

The human body is not designed to eat only vegetables; which is why vegetarians need to have factory processed vitamins to survive. Vegetarians are to blame for global warming. Living creatures inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide, the plants take it in and make oxygen. First of all, by going to vegan diet you are significantly cutting back on your "carbon footprint". Outside of that, many vegans do employ alternative lifestyles to help out the ecosystem. what benefits? I'm sorry, I wasn't sure there were any. Caseinate alone can prohibit the absorption of calcium, and don't get me started on the affects of natural occuring opiates and those affects on the body. Calcium is derived best from dark leafy greens, like kale. Vegetables are almost never expensive, especially not if you're smart and eat in season. Or grow your own. Kale will grow through snow. I have never met a malnourished vegan, and I have met many hundred vegans throughout my work.

I have tried veganism. The only problem is, most soy alternatives are to damn expensive! Have you looked at the price of soy milk or cheese? How am I supposed to get a proper amount of calcium. I do respect vegans in every way, but I also must point out that many of them are malnourished because they are not supplementing vitamins that their diet is missing. I am only 16, and still growing. The benefits to consuming milk-products greatly outweigh the risks.

im vegitarian....but i still eat tinned food cos i cant be bothered cooking anything doesnt come outof a tin lol. vegitarian pasta: quick cook pasta, jar of tomatos. throw some onions in and peppers and whtever spices you like. then add tuna afterwards lol and cheese. the tuna makes it healthier. also when you boil the pasta put sunflower oil in it cooks quicker also healthier. thats my cooking tips, noobs write it down for later.

It's strange to me that you care so much about health, and so little about morality. My view is completely the opposite - I'm a vegetarian, but I don't fret about death and disease, because these things come to all of us, regardless of our lifestyle. However, we DO have the power to choose to live a moral life. We can choose not to inflict cruelty on animals, and we can choose not endorse that cruelty by buying or eating meat. isn it kind of cruel to stil hunt if you're a vegetarian or vegan. Why would you kill an animal if you're not going to eat it. I think that's the same as being a vegetarian or vegan between meals. And if you hunt because you think it's "fun" you can't say "Omg thats so terrible" when you see for example, a dog getting kicked. sorry if my English is bad.

the most compassionate thing we can do is encourage our fellow man to not be gluttonous, emotionally bereft or ignorant of moral responsibility. there is no health reason which would require meat eating for survival. if we are so evolved, why are we so dependent on another species? with all of the options 2day, we have no excuse 2 say we are merely trying 2 survive. u care about compassion? there r starving kids who would give anything 2 not have their crops plowed down 2 feed american cattle.

I don't understand how you could not give a crap about animal suffering. that is foreign to a compassionate heart. that's great ur a vegetarian but at the same time, your diet or lifestyle choices for that matter, is not all about you. if u can't care about a helpless animal, i wonder how you feel you are compassionate as a human being. love and compassion knows no limit and extends itself to all life

am still quite unsure about my Democratic position but when I look at the Republican party I can not find any agreement on the issue of homosexual marriages, pro-choice, and preo-stem cell research. These are not my prime issues; but I would like to see them addressed. I have been told many times to research Ron Paul and I take each request to heart. Also a little known fact that only you get to know about me. I've been vegetarian for 6 years and counting. =) I am aware that many portions of the U.S. are not longer able to plant food because of the irrepreable damage done by farming cattle in mass amounts. I'm assuming this in other nations as well. We could also solve for world hunger if all we farmed were plants. All the land used for farm animals->plants->Bye Bye World Hunger
