Perhaps the original version as written used "flowers" not "clouds." But "clouds" has two advantages: 1) this word is only one syllable long not two like "flowers"; and 2) Birds being "high up on the trees" would be more inclined to be seen as singing to the "clouds" rather than to "flowers," especially to someone from below.

There has always been a small disagreement about the lyrics in this beautiful song as to wether the birds are serenading the clouds or the flowers with their melodies. Well it's flowers not clouds.

Usually attributed to Bach, yes. The melody is from Minuet in G Major. Recently, there is debate as to the composer, apparently it may have actually been written by Christian Petzold. Beautiful job by the singer, thank you.

Great voice - especially for recording on inexpensive equipment, with no studio effects, and at home. Carried tune very well - on key and on time. This is difficult to do unaccompanied. Also very pretty face and hair. Outstanding amateur - could make a go of it as a professional singer. Thanks for sharing your song!
