yes..good deal.. they tried to sell me their defective product.. first they gave me a bad phone. At first the back cover didn't slide properly after she inserted the battery, i thought it was ok but then i found that the scroll key was hard to press and it squeaked. she gave me that phone knowing fully well. i think it was a returned product. there was fingerprints all over when i took it from the sales lady, which she tried to rub off with her clothes.the charger package was also an open box..

umm, i took the 20$ plan, and over where i live there was a promotion going on, no activation fee and 911 fee ( fees in general) so its just 20$ a month, The phone itself was 50 dollars but they threw in a 50 gift card which i used to pay for the phone and a mini speaker.. good deal i'd say

thanks for the tips. I will see the dealer soon. So far i think the 6301 is not so bad. it has a nice music player, takes good pictures, has a nice screen and good features but the down side is that the navigation keys are a bit small i think and it doesn't take good videos. Maximum resolution is 176 x 144. Overall it's a good phone. btw how much did u get yours? i got the phone plus a car charger,an extra crappy headset and a belt clip for $12 and something. For the phone i only paid the taxes.

(continued) This nokia being a huge improvement from my own phone I liked being able to multi task, (eg listening to music while texting) i'm not sure however if the E747 can do that also. Being a heavy multimedia user, ( i take ALOT of pictures and videos with my phone and i'm a heavy texter) one of the reasons i chose the phone was cause it had a usb port which was very convenient. I would recommend going to the fido dealer and asking them some questions about the difference in the 2 phones

I've never personally owned a samsung, but my mom has the sph a523 which in my opinion is similar to the E747 (except for the scroll wheel). Comparing the a523 i think that the nokia is a bit better in terms of screen resolution and has abit more functionality and customizable. But just handling the E747 at the store it just seems a little too "toy" in my opinion, and it doesn't have the same amount of heft in the hand.

nice review!.. i just got this phone. What do u think about the Samsung SGH-E747 which is also offered by fido at the same price? I am thinking of exchanging it.

Serious! he was on the 11:00 news on global too.. they interviewed him. he said the flames were so close to ceiling and thats where the natural gas is and if the flames hit it.. them and the next 2 blocks would be gone!! LUCKY!

that exact bus was put in the repair line from a previous driver and CMBC and a the mechanics put it back on the road. There was word that the fire supression system never worked on board. It was either coach P3333 or P3353
