Not sure if he's doing work on those or not, he isn't online anymore lately, might be busy with work and other projects. I'm going single turbo with a 50 trim and custom header for now, maybe later I'll experiment if I feel like it, unless I sell the twin turbo setup to someone else.

So what did you end up doing about the twin turbo setup? Is Hal still offering the volvo conversions? Someone told me he doesn't anymore?

well the T3 has major sideplay, were replacing it with a Holset HX35

Not necessarily, the bearing itself can make that noise, these turbos were new but were eBay knockoffs. The bearings are inherently problematic.

That's because it really was sick, not supposed to sound like that. The turbo is now gushing oil.

Yes, this is video of my car just moments ago, and the sound of one of the turbos spinning down at the very end, followed by "Uh-Oh!", is the sound of a bearing going out completely allowing one of the compressors to stall out against the housing. If I caused this it could prove quite expensive...
