Just in case, I am aware that a group who publicly practices falun gong(esp in tiananmen) will be arrested if seen by police as it's declared an evil cult(whether that be true or not). BUT, as said before, Falun Gong is IMO pretty shady in itself (U should see ntdtv & epoch times, both falungong sponsored, superbiased). My point is it's wiser to support large legit orgs like Amnesty, which have a good chance of getting large countries like China & US to improve human rights conditions.

Actually, they CAN practice falun gong or Christianity privately; its just you can't protest or oppose the government. The view of "evil" communism and good democracy has been put forth since the Cold War. Have you even been to China?
