Just happens bolts are 5 x slower to make than chests. Just so people are clear... You can nearly break even smithing HOWEVER you waste so much time. The time saved smithing things like chest's can be used to make the money lost if not more.

bolts are better and its better to make 1 bar things like bolts because hammer xp bonus is 80% extra for 1 bar meaning mith bolts instead of 50 xp get you 90 xp and u go close to even
