It's a mix of some great songs by the Electric Light Orchestra like Don't Bring Me Down, Sweet Talking Woman, Living Thing, Calling America, So Serious, Shine A Little Love, Twilight, Turn To Stone and Hold On Tight. This is without a doubt the supreme megamix on YouTube! The only one that is probably anywhere close to this good is Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac Megamix (check it out!). What makes a good hits compilation music video is the ability to effortlessly flow from song to song (almost as though the songs are all one song combined). This compilation definitely accomplishes that. Very entertaining! Thank you jlowry71. By the way, I'm now signed up to your videos. Keep up the great work pal!

This is my favorite compilation music video online. I absolutely love ELO!!! They are my favorite band of all-time (with the Traveling Wilburys a close second). These guys rule!!! I wish they'd get back together for a reunion tour. Nothing would be better!!! I did watch their VH1 concert a few years back (2004? 2005?) That was great!!! I think we all see it in our own way. When I heard this song it spoke to me of a man looking back at something lost and I put that into the video, looking back nostalgically at ELO. If you notice towards the end I take the lineup and gradually reduce it down to where at the end it's just Jeff. Jeff WAS the core of ELO with his songwriting and producing, but at the same time we can't take away from Bev, Mik, Richard, Kelly and the other members' input. I wish they would just get back together.

I guess Lawrev I just see it differently. Look at Lynne's personality. He is a leader and leaders lead. He started ELO with his willpower and took risks and they thankfully paid off. WHen he got tired of massive orchestration he tried new things. The thing that bugs me the most is when people say, "look at the human casualties." That is absurd. I look at the success of many people associated with this genius. They were/are lucky to have the opportunity to have worked with him.

Jeff has admitted that he "lost his way" in the 80s with his love for drum machines and synths. So...look at the human casualties along the way. The only vocalist that sang lead on tour was let go. The drummer, widely known in rock as one of the best, was reduced to playing basic tracks (or the machines did it for Jeff). The string section was canned in late 1979. Jeff turned down headlining Knebworth in 1979. The demise was inevitable. By 1986 ELO live was a shadow of its former self.

Hey Getchasumm, still grinding the axe? Lynne wrote hundreds of songs that make millions of people happy. Many of the songs were created after he let some members go when his musical style changed. If you listen to his interviews and bio info he says he was tired of all the work that went into orchestration, plus he always liked gizmos so he got enamored with synths and didn't need all the band members. ELO was always Lynne's project.

Then throw in the fact that most wrestlers who were there in the 80's experimented with coke and/or pills as well as other stuff and as you said I'm sure his size was a contributing factor.

It's a song called "The Chase" by composer Giorgio Moroder, from the Midnight Express Soundtrack. The ICW Promotion run by Angelo Poffo (Randy Savage's dad) used it as the show's theme song. The Midnight Express tag team later used it as their theme song.

I grew up in Batesville, MS and watching wrestling on channel 13 or channel 5 when it moved was a regular Saturday morning ritual. Does anyone remember how each Monday night, the Midsouth Coliseum was the place to be to watch it live? That's where Lawler faced all the big time names such as King Kong Bundy, Hulk Hogan, Kamala, Terry Funk, and the list could go on forever. Like the other guy said, the majority of those in the WWE passed through Memphis at one time or another.

This is... weird to say the least. Before becoming Hillbilly Jim in the WWF, journeyman wrestler Jim Morris was the one and only Harley Davidson in the Memphis territory. Harley had a tag team partner who bore a resemblence to The American Dream Dusty Rhodes, and his name was Dirty Rhodes! Anyway here's a video of the two.
