that sucks royally. if you have long enough fingers you can try to mute the top E string with your thumb if you wrap it around the back. but you'll need super long fingers for that.

i broke my arm, and i cant put my fingers straight up, :( and the tabs were from ultimate guitar, thanks for your tip, i will try to fix the position :D

a tip for muting the big E string - put your middle finger straight up instead of pulling it down like you do. rest it gently on the big E string and you can play it normally. also the bridge is wrong. it's F#, F, A#.

ive been told that, and my music teacher insists on teaching me, i find it hard, maybe i didnt try hard enough. and thanks for the natural talent, you know when i bought this guitar, i didnt know how to play, but i said, i was gonna learn, and so i did. i will work more on reading notations.

even though u find notations worthless, work on reading, many of rock's best guitarists can not only read notation, but were trained classically in music, especially on piano. don't think anything is beneath you, you have some natural talent, don't let it go to your head, music is more than playing notes, its an understanding, a feeling, the more versed you are in music, the better your guitar playing will come.

thanks, im sorry, missunderstandings always will happen, i can only read tabs... i find notations useless... and i can play a lot of songs now, yesterday i played in a concert, stacys mom, so that is why i was searching for this video.

heres a little tip on the internet, people are not psychic. wen u said "play real instruments" that is a command leading the reciever of the post to think your throwing down an insult, if your true meaning was to give advice say, "dude that be way sick if you played live" bam it no longer looks like an insult it looks like an idea, a piece of advice. by the way, for playing 4 months, thats not bad, can u read notation, or do u use tabs?

well you see, the thing is that i broke my arm when i was eight, then my arm was kind of effed up and cant make it straight at all. i feel comfortable playing this way because otherwise my arm starts hurting, but thanks for the advice bro :)

Hold the guitar properly in between your legs resting on your outward knee. Like a classical player; I honestly don't see how people get reasonable accuracy with the guitar on their picking hand knee. I also play with my guitar strapped very high as well, accuracy > comfort or looks.
