a lot of times i don't give discourse enough time to sink in. i listen...but the information is not processed, in my melon. i need to start taking more time, in responding to others, because my 'processors' are pretty slow. my reactions sometimes leave me regretful.

that's really the best part of nvc... it has nothing or very little to do with being "nice", it's all about tuning in, really listening empathetically to others or yourself. ;)

Thank you, Charlie. I really enjoyed this reading. It's odd how I heard those descriptions of violent communication and thought of myself and many others I know saying those things... I also heard things that I try to share with others. I like to share with people what I think about the personal responsibility of controlling one's own emotions.

I was also going to do this for NVC! Thanks for presenting this. This knowledge is beneficial on YouTube especially with responding to criticism.
