They sing in Karelian dialect of Finnish, which is a different thing than the Karelian language. Karelian language is very close to Finnish, but they are not always intelligible. Trust me, I come from where they come from.

It was a project for a college class, and yes, it was meant as more of a joke than anything. "Numa Numa" was all the rage at the time, I had this song laying around from an old IB exam and figured what the heck? Besides, we didn't have cable and sometimes you have to find interesting ways to entertain yourself.
