Yes, it is Adrian James, the son of Jim Croce...I think this kid is awesome, he has overcome a lot of physical obstacles also. He had a brain tumor when he was about 3 or 4 years old, and lost his sight. Got back the sight in his left eye they said, after surgery to remove it. I like his music a lot.

Intro and Chorus are G-B7-Em-G7-C-C/B-Am-D7-C7-C#7-D7. Verse goes G-D7-G-D7-G-C-C7-B7-Bb7-A7. He likes to slide up into the G and the D7 from below and alternates the bass note on the D7 from D to A. Bridge goes C-G-C-A7-D7. Hope that helps.

Saw him at the old Wildwood, NJ Convention Hall in 72 I think. Still have my old vinyl and sheet music. Saw a TV show a few years back about Jim's wife Ingrid and his son. They were fighting the record companies for the rights to his songs because he was never paid before he died. I don't think anyone is compatable with his story telling--get the CD about Jim talking about the Chinese,driving trucks and meeting the "Roller Derby Queen" live on JIM

Jim was working with his wife for some time and had really givin up, feeling he would never break through. His need to express himself through music was very strong so he kept writing.Ten songs recorded on a little tape recorder was sent to Cashman and West, they were blown away and felt they were hearing original hit songs on that tape. It still wasn't easy but they worked very hard and got a deal for Jim with ABC Dunhill, the rest is history, great story it really should be made into a movie.
