that is absolutely ludicrous. everyone has their own opinion but youve crossed over into stupidville. its fine if you like taylor hicks more, but to say shes a better singer songwriter it frankly retarded. yes she has a few catchy little tunes about puppy love and other lighthearted things and shes cute and bubbly. but her music is lacking the depth and complexity of croce. you get an overall sense of amazement when you listen to jim and regardless of your age or background you can relate to it

His small plane crashed en route to doing a free/make-up concert (for one he missed) at a college. Plane didn't get enough height on takeoff and the wings clipped trees. Died upon impact. And no, he did not do drugs. Just great music.
