In a time when news is actually talking point regurgitation, "The Daily Show" and "Real Time" always swing the spotlight where it needs most to shine. These COMEDY shows tell the truth about issues of self-righteous repression like Intelligent Design and Praying The Gay Away. And they DON'T make it sound like there are two rational sides when there AREN'T. Keep it up, Jon, Bill and your writers. For a comic take on society's repression of homosexuality, do a YouTube search for "MAYBE GAY RAY"

Crazy Bow-Tie-Man is getting so mad! He's trying so hard to insult/criticize him in hurts to watch! He's just trying to say something to get him angry! He's not even defending his show properly, he's just trying to point out flaws in Jon's show! And he keeps interrupting him! Jon pwns...That's all I have to say.

It's this type of Mr. Smith goes to washington do-goodery that I admire in him that causes me to wonder how the daily show will handle an obama administration. The Bush years were (unfortunately) comedy gold, but I would lose respect for the program if they treated Obama with kid gloves. The man was not ordained by burning bush, and I hope the clap-happy daily show audience can realize that, as well as other humorless democrats.
