We know quite well how it feels when the country is being invaded by other powers. As for Japan, what the US troops did in the past were way too much. At least, that bomb could shake up Japan from its great insane dream of invading into all other Asian countries "To defend other countries, To prevent more people being killed"! And it has possibly taught them to bare this in mind: "Do not do to others, what you don't want done to yourself!" Disappointedly, neither came true.
