But why don't they also celebrate the collapse of the Soviet Union, which in its early years sowed hundreds of thousands - if not Millions - of Russians during and after the revolution? The Cheka was running loose in Russia slaughtering anybody even slightly against the regime and the NKVD was equally bad during the war, e.g. when it sent Soviet soldiers (A LOT!) captured by the Germans and deserters to the Gulag system.

Netrebko is a Ukrainian last name (it is a common knowledge), so, yes she is not exactly Russian-Russian, and she looks very Ukrainian too. As far as the interview goes, I agree, it is very difficult to hear two Russian people speaking English to each other; and yes, their English is not perfect, but you should take into account that she sings in couple of languages and the "opera language" is Italian, not English, besides she lives in Austria....so, again, Germanic (not English!).

No, your lives are worth alot.. But still Georgia shouldn't have started shit..Russia just felt like it was there duty to handle what was going on.. And yes they were showing Georgia who is Boss.. Because when your a tiny little country like Georgia dont go fucking around with a large country like Russia thats fucking stupid...
