Well here they are shooting fotons (light) at a small object in order to see what happens. In CERN they accelerate neutrons around a track and make them collide. Fotons already travel at the speed of light (it is light) so no acceleration is needed. I'm not a physicist so I'm afraid I can't tell you much more.

Doesn't look that complicated, all that acid and cleaning stuff is just to get at the contacts. There are multilayered circuits in a smartcard, so you have to make a hole in the upper layers to get to the lower layers. The problem comes if they put important circuitary directly above the critical parts you need to access in the lower layers. The rest is electronics

I DON'T think so! Spore has some GREAT ideas at it's core: massive-singleplayer, sharing user creations, the focus on following one species from amoeba to star empire. But the execution is plain horrible, especially on the later stages. Their focus on an audience of 5-year-olds destroys the game. What they really need is a GREAT Spore 2 something much more complex and focused toward adults. While it may be true that the market is toward kids, I think adults have been waiting for a deep game.

Spore sucks! It's just a crappy version of about five other games thrown together, but very shallowly done. The first few levels, cell, creature, and tribe are very well thought-out, and deep enough. But civilzation needs to be far more complex, and the space stage is pure awfulness. Starships that can only fight in planetary almosphere, and have the controls of Pac-Man? COME ON! The website is crap. What they really need to do is make Spore 2. Until then, I'm not playing anymore.

PS3 E3 turned out to be the best. Almost all games coming to X360 turned out to be crap besides Gears of War 2. Wii E3 was horrible but it will have a lot of great games late 2008 and 2009. PS3 owns this gen because of exclusives, graphics and sixaxis.

LBP is an awesome game, it's truly revolutionary and a great reason to own a ps3. I was expecting so much more from Fable, and though it delivers on all fronts, I was dissapointed to hear that it had such a short story. I guess that's non-Japanese RPG's for you (though I consider Fable to be more adventure). Both great games, but fanboys love comparing them just because they came out within the same time lapse. Too bad for them, fanboys lose out all the time

umm, fable 2 is a sequal. i think thats more of a ground to call it old crap. since it is old and it's graphics and game mechanics are crap. little big planet is now and forever will be minty fresh. fable will get old after your dog dies in game, since apparently thats the biggest aspect of gameplay is playing with your dog.

Anybody judging this man for what he has done hasn't seen much of his/her inner potential as much in the constructive side as in the destructive side. It feels to me as a great tragedy that he has gone so far as to kill someone, and also a great tragedy that he was forced to prison instead of mandatory therapy. We are not really civilized yet if punishment/prison is the only solution we have to such situations. I hope we can do better in the future to our fellow human beeings.

Hans Reiser is a very antisocial nerd with many personality/behavior problems who married a woman who just wanted to get into the US, who had just as many problems as he did (she was having an affair with a crazy BDSM psycho who claimed he killed 8 people). His dad is just as crazy and paranoid as he is and kids are products of their environment. His filesystem sucks ass too. It's not brilliant or anything resembling a good idea for a filesystem. Extrañamente todo este caso en contra de Hans Reiser se armó en base a pruebas circunstamciales, de las cuales la más «inculpadora» era un vestigio de sangre de Nina Reiser que se encontró dentro de la casa. Es posible que sea culpable, pero el que se inculpen a los acusados tan livianamente y con tan pobre evidencia concreta, bueno eso explica quizás la gran cantidad de fallos erróneos que ostentan los tribunales de justicia norteamericanos. Ojalá no se hayan equivocado ahora con Reiser.
